പരിന്ദേയ്: മിനി എം. ആർ. & സുധി എസ്. അലൈവ്ലിഹുഡ്: വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം പ്രദേശം: വയനാട്, കേരളം “ഗോത്രതാളം തുടങ്ങാൻ എനിക്ക് പ്രചോദനമായത് കനവിലെ ജീവിതമായിരുന്നു. കനവ്  ഇല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ഇന്നുമൊരു ഡ്രോപ്പ്-ഔട്ട് സ്റ്റുഡന്റായി ജീവിച്ചേനെ. കനവിൽ നിന്ന് പഠിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് ഞാൻ ഗോത്രതാളത്തിലൂടെ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് നൽകിയിരുന്നത്”.  – മിനി  കനവ് (ഫോട്ടോ: അമൽ ദേവ്) ഓരോ മനുഷ്യരും ഓരോ ചിത്രശലഭങ്ങളാണ്; അവരവരുടെ പൂന്തോട്ടത്തിൽ. വയനാട് ജില്ലയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ‘കനവ്’ എന്ന ബദൽ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്കൂൾ ഒരു പൂന്തോട്ടമായിരുന്നു. വലിയ ചിറകുകളുള്ള ചെറുചിത്രശലഭങ്ങളുടെ പൂന്തോട്ടം. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പഴക്കം ചെന്ന ബദൽ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് കനവ്. 1994-ലാണ് കനവ് സ്ഥാപിതമാകുന്നത്. പിന്നീട് 2016-ൽ ചില സാമ്പത്തിക ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾ മൂലം സ്കൂൾ പ്രവർത്തനരഹിതമായി. ഇന്ന് ആ സ്കൂൾ പഴയ രീതിയിൽ പുനരാരംഭിക്കാനായിട്ടാണ് മിനിയും സുധിയും കനവിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നിട്ടുള്ളത്. മിനി കനവിലെ പൂർവ്വ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനിയാണ്. കനവിൽ നിന്ന് പഠനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ആദിവാസി-ദളിത് വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി ‘ഗോത്രതാളം’ എന്ന ബദൽ സ്കൂൾ സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.  മിനിയും സുധിയും…
